1. "Annual Expense Ratio” represents the fund's annual operating expenses as shown in its most recent annual report to shareholders, net of any applicable fee waiver and/or expense reimbursements. In the case of a new fund or class, the annual expense ratio is based on estimated expenses as reflected in the fund prospectus.

2. “Quarterly Fees & Expenses” reflects the approximate fees and expenses your fund investment incurred during the previous quarter, assuming that you held shares of the fund for the entire quarter. It does not take into account any initial or contingent deferred sales charges or redemption fees, if any. Also, if you are investing through a third party provider, that provider may have fees and expenses separate from those of the fund that are not reflected here. Your actual expenses may be higher or lower.

"The portfolio is available only as a variable annuity subaccount in an insurance contract and is not available for direct investment. Investments are made to the underlying subaccount in the insurance contract."

Fees disclosed here for Variable Insurance Portfolios do not include the separate fees and expenses that are imposed under your annuity and/or life insurance policy.

The historical rate of return for a fund may be higher or lower than 5%, and for money funds, is typically less than 5%. The tables also assume that all dividends and distributions are reinvested. The annual portfolio expense ratios shown are net of any contractual fee waivers or expense reimbursements, if any, for the period of the contractual commitment. Also, please note that if you are investing through a third party provider, that provider may have fees and expenses separate from those of the portfolio that are not reflected here.
